Peony Itoh Hillary - 5.5 Litre Tall Pot

Itoh peonies are an intersectional cross between herbaceous and tree peonies making them highly collectable and desirable.

Peony Hillary has beautiful raspberry-coloured flowers that bloom in late spring/early summer. These flowers then turn cream as the plant matures.

Has a long flowering period and is lightly scented.

Sun or partial shade loving.

Max Height - 75cm.

Our Itoh Peonies are grown from bare root stock in large, tall 5.5 litre pots.

All peonies require a moist but well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.

Provide support for varieties with large flowers.

Plant in a rich but well-drained soil, avoid planting in a waterlogged position. The majority of herbaceous peonies prefer a neutral or slightly alkaline soil.

Ensure you don’t plant them too deeply, as this will yield poor results. Mix in plenty of well-rotted organic matter before planting. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring.
