Peony Itoh Callies Memory - 5.5 Litre Tall Pot

Itoh peonies are an intersectional cross between herbaceous and tree peonies making them highly collectable and desirable.

A large semi-double yellow-peach flower reaching 20cm across. The underlying colour of this sumptuous variety is cream, and flushed with magenta. The magenta stains the edges and is darker around the ring of stamens.

Has a long flowering period and is lightly scented.

Sun or partial shade loving.

Max Height - 60 - 90cm.

Our Itoh Peonies are grown from bare root stock in large, tall 5.5 litre pots.

All peonies require a moist but well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.

Provide support for varieties with large flowers.

Plant in a rich but well-drained soil, avoid planting in a waterlogged position. The majority of herbaceous peonies prefer a neutral or slightly alkaline soil.

Ensure you don’t plant them too deeply, as this will yield poor results. Mix in plenty of well-rotted organic matter before planting. Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring.
